Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc, Rho Omega Omega Chapter Annual Adopt A Family. We adopted 1 family from Bladen County and 2 from Sampson County. Children were blessed this holiday season. We were Santa's helpers!

The ladies of Rho Omega Omega are certainly Poised and Polished for Excellence as we kick off the start of our Marvelous Mid-Atlantic Regional Conference. We put on our best HBCU and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated paraphernalia and snapped some oh, so pretty photos!

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc, Rho Omega Omega Chapter(member of the Sandhills Joint Founders' Day Committee) members enjoyed this wonderful Founders' Day event. Thirty-one members and two guest attended, four members participated in the welcome and two members sang in the choir. Happy Founders' Day!!!

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Rho Omega Omega Chapter celebrates National Family Caregivers' Day. On Saturday, November 9, 2019 the members visited 4 nursing homes in Clinton, NC and provided 25 individual "Blessing Bags" and a basket of fruit filled with healthy snacks to the staff in each of four nursing homes. The staff members were thanked for their service and provided information and tips for caregivers.

The Rho Omega Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. proudly participates in the North Carolina Department of Transportation’s Adopt-A-Highway Program. The chapter adopted a stretch of road in Elizabethtown, Bladen County and performs a quarterly litter pick-up each calendar year. For members of the local chapter, this provides a great fellowship opportunity with other members.

The ladies of the Rho Omega Omega Chapter would like to congratulate Ms. Paulette McCray Hall on receiving the Golden Member Service Award at the 68th Marvelous Mid-Atlantic Regional Conference. Golden members have dedicated at least 50 years of service to our beloved sorority! Congratulations, again, for your service to all mankind.

Voter Empowerment Training with NC Black Alliance

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Rho Omega Omega Chapter, serving Sampson and Bladen Counties, NC congratulates Mayor Winifred Hill Murphy on being re-elected as the Mayor of the Town of Garland, Sampson County, NC. Mayor Murphy, the First African American Woman to serve in this position, was appointed in 2011 and has been re-elected ever since.
